Nathalie du Pasquier

Nathalie du Pasquier is a designer based in Milan. While she initially focused on creating furniture, clothing, and jewellery, her work today is centred around painting. She describes the connection between her earlier and current work as "a chain of thoughts that follow each other. It would be impossible not to connect the two, even if at a certain point I decided to become a painter." Her style is defined by bold shapes and colours, and a preference for pencil and paper over digital design techniques. In collaboration with The Wrong Shop, du Pasquier has created a series of posters, available at HAY.nl.
