Jonas Forsman

Jonas Forsman is a Swedish industrial designer, born in 1979. He studied Furniture Design at Stenebyskolan and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He lives and works in Gothenburg, where he runs his own design studio. There, he focuses on creating furniture and products with simple, functional solutions. He uses clever mechanical ideas and explores materials to reduce each design to its essence. His work has been exhibited in cities such as Gothenburg, Stockholm and Milan, and he has received several Red Dot Awards. For HAY, he designed the O2 Lounge Chair and Ottoman.
