Emma Kohlmann
Emma Kohlmann is an internationally recognised American artist working across drawing, painting, zines, digital art, and writing. Her accessible visual language blends abstraction and figuration, exploring dreams, identity, and the human condition through fluid organic forms. Often addressing themes of gender and fluidity, her work challenges traditional boundaries and perspectives. A Hampshire College graduate in philosophy and feminist theory, she is based in Massachusetts and co-runs Mundus Press with her sister, Charlotte, promoting equitable and affordable publishing. Represented by V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, she has exhibited widely in Denmark and abroad. For HAY, Kohlmann designed the La Pittura tableware collection.
