Care & maintenance
- Wipe wood and powder-coated steel with a clean cloth moistened with water or a solution of water and neutral detergent. Remove soap residue immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cream or scrub pads as they can scratch the surface.

- Avoid placing the furniture in direct sunlight or near a strong heat source to reduce changes. Wood is a natural material and will change in color and patinate over time.

Featuring a flat-pack design that is easy to assemble, reconfigure and recycle, the simple construction provides a flexible shelving solution for organising and storing a multitude of items. Constructed from lightweight aluminium and steel using the minimum number of components required to create a complete storage system, Pier System is available in a variety of colours and set configurations that can be combined with each other. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, two brothers from Brittany working in Paris, have formed a powerful design duo since 1998.
