Rop van Mierlo

Rop van Mierlo is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Amsterdam. After studying at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, he gained recognition for his distinctive wet-on-wet painting technique, which brings animals to life in an abstract and expressive way. His motto: "Just do it, without thinking too much." His illustrations appear on mugs, wall hangings and prints, and through collaborations with various fashion houses, his work can now also be found on textiles. In collaboration with The Wrong Shop, Rop van Mierlo has created a striking collection of Wild Animals posters, available exclusively at HAY.nl.
