Pierre Charpin
Pierre Charpin is a visual artist working in Ivry-sur-Seine and living in Paris. He intended to be an artist, but devoted himself later to furniture and object design. He graduated from the National School of Fine arts in Bourges. You can still see his artistic background in his designs. Form and color characterize his work. Drawing is an essential part of his creative process. His designs have been included in exhibitions around the world and are held in many museum collections. He was elected Designer of the Year 2017 at Maison & Objet. For HAY, he designed the PC lamp collection.
