SmithMatthias
SmithMatthias is a design studio, based in Londen and founded in 2014 by Jack Smith and Gemma Matthias. After working for several architects and design practices, Jack and Gemma shared their knowledge of manufacturing and passion for enduring products. The multidisciplinary design studio takes a precise and thoughtful approach to create soulful and impactful work. They are driven by the challenge to leave a positive footprint, so they strip a concept down to its barest essentials whilst considering all aspect of form and function. For HAY, they designed the Noc Wall, Clip and Button lamp.
