Lex Pott
Lex Pott is A Dutch designer who always strives to create a certain harmony in form, function and context. He graduated cum laude in 2009 from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, and now owns a design studio in Rotterdam. In his work he likes to return to the origin of materials like wood, (natural) stone and metal. He tries to bring them back to their essence: the material. He employs a very raw and intuitive method. A number of his designs are notable for unlikely combinations of techniques and materials. For HAY, he designed the colourful Pillar Candle and the Perforated Tray.
